National Honor Society

The National Honor Society is a nationwide organization honoring students that excel in and beyond the classroom. Membership in the National Honor Society is based on a student’s fulfillment of the four basic requirements: scholarship, service, leadership and character. Each fall, students in grades 11 and 12 are invited to apply for membership to the Tempe Preparatory Academy Chapter of the National Honor Society. NHS students must have a 3.0 minimum GPA, be involved in at least two extracurricular activities, and serve in the community for at least 15 hours each semester, with at least five hours of service in NHS group projects. More details about the requirements to be inducted into the Tempe Prep Chapter of the National Honor Society are set forth in the application.
