Richard Foreman serves as the President and CEO of the Arizona Business and Education Coalition. Foreman worked as the Director of Corporate Public Affairs for Southwest Gas Corporation for 28 years. Foreman also served 10 years as a board member for the Tempe Union High School District and four years for Great Hearts Academies. In addition, Foreman served on numerous task forces and educational entities via appointment by the Arizona Governor. Since the early 1990s, he chaired and co-chaired 11 school finance-campaign committees in Tempe. His experience also entails legislative and regulatory positions in the State of Arizona and Washington, D.C.
Roberta Fischer is a Revenue Agent with the Department of Treasury. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Dakota. Fischer and her husband — David — have been Tempe Preparatory parents since 2003. They have five children, two who are currently attending and three who have graduated from Tempe Preparatory Academy.
Dr. Rebecca Cryder
Dr. Cryder has been teaching for 19 years, at both the junior high and high school levels. She is an experienced Spanish and Social Studies teacher and currently teaches Economics and American History. She has completed extensive research on gender differences in academic achievement and is well-versed in federal and state education requirements. She is experienced in data analysis and curriculum alignment and has received funding from the Helios Education Foundation for the implementation of instructional strategies in the classroom. She is an active parent with two children, both of whom attend Tempe Preparatory Academy.
Lisa Borawski-Pickard is the Director of Finance for the Medtronic Tempe Campus and is responsible for the campus’ financial health, strategic planning, compliance and continuous improvement. She holds a Masters of Business Administration from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
Chad Sampson is an attorney specializing in schools and education. He currently serves as Vice President for Legal Affairs at the Arizona Board of Regents. He served as Assistant Attorney General under Terry Goddard and testified frequently with the Arizona State Board of Education. Sampson has three children attending Tempe Preparatory Academy.
