Community Investment

Tempe Preparatory Academy offers a top-tier education with a small class setting and a rich and rigorous curriculum. Unfortunately, it is estimated that the difference between what the state sends us to educate each student and what it costs us to educate them is around $1500 or more per student. To continue to provide our teachers and students with the resources they need to learn and thrive, a method for covering the gap between public funding and our costs is necessary. To this end, we are reintroducing the Community Investment campaign here at Tempe Prep.

How can I donate?

You can donate to the Community Investment campaign in several ways using various methods.

You can spread your contribution over the course of the school year by making monthly gifts during Tempe Prep’s fiscal year of July 1 through June 30.

You can make a one-time gift to the school by clicking on the Community Investment button below.

REMEMBER that all donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE!

Why is Community Investment important?

Community Investment through a tax-deductible gift to Tempe Prep allows us to maintain small class sizes and low teacher-to-student ratios. Much of our success is due to the smaller number of students in each class, which aids teachers in getting to know your child and how to best help him/her in the learning process.

Your tax-deductible gift also allows us to attract and reward excellent teachers who are so important to our school’s continued success.

Your support of the Community Investment campaign will help bolster TPA’s operating budget and provide us with added funds to be used where we need them most—in the classroom.

What can you give?

Tempe Preparatory Academy asks that each family contribute $1,200 per student per year to help us close the gap between what we need to educate your children the way we do and the public funds we receive to do so.

We appreciate gifts of any size and hope that 100% of families will participate in this campaign as they are able.

This request is not an easy one, but your participation in this campaign demonstrates the value you place on an excellent education for your children.

How is Community Investment different than the Tax Credit drive?

The Tax Credit drive is still a vitally important way for you to support and enhance our vibrant extracurricular programs that contribute so much towards making the Tempe Prep experience so rewarding for our students. Community Investment, on the other hand, is a way for you to support the school by giving money that can be used directly in the classrooms.
